Terms of Service

These terms apply when you use Builtee, run by [Owner or company name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Builtee, you agree to them.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 and give accurate information.
• Keep access to your email safe. Sign-in codes are sent there, and you are responsible for what happens in your account.

Price

• Builtee is free for builders, project managers and homeowners. No credit card is needed.
• If we ever add paid features, we will tell you before they start, and you will never be charged without agreeing first.

Your content

You own what you add to Builtee. You allow us to store it and show it to the people on your project so we can run the service. If you add information or photos about other people or their homes, you are responsible for having their permission.

Builtee is a tool

• Builtee helps organize projects. We are not a builder or contractor, and we are not part of any agreement between a builder and a homeowner.
• We don't check anyone's licenses, insurance or work. That is between you and the people you work with.
• Change orders, invoices and other documents made in Builtee are templates. They are not legal or financial advice.
• Schedules, weather forecasts and reminders are estimates and may be wrong or late.

Fair use

Don't misuse Builtee. For example, don't access projects you weren't invited to, upload anything illegal or harmful, or try to break or overload the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

No guarantees

Builtee is provided "as is". We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. Keep your own copies of important documents.

Limit of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, such as lost profits, project delays or data loss. Our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $100 if you haven't paid us.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from the account menu. We may close accounts that break these terms.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

Changes

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app when the change is important.
